In the context of building a balanced immune system, impaired immunity can stem from a variety of nutritional, lifestyle, and pathogenic factors, as well as from a toxic load associated with food additives, indoor air, and over-reliance upon antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs, either non-steroidal or steroidal-based. These all contribute to immune function imbalance.
In addition, if you add:
you may cross a threshold whereby the immune system becomes dysfunctional. Catch anything and a full-blown cold or flu is the result.
Perhaps it is time to provide the necessary nutrients to boost and fortify your immune system?
Therefore, it is always best to follow a preventative, proactive approach throughout the year to keep your immune system firing on all cylinders. It is not enough to just focus on the bugs after they have taken hold to boost your immunity for awhile. This is only patchwork.
You need to get to the root causes to keep the infectious agents at bay permanently. The key is to enhance your immunity so it can effectively snuff out the microbes before they grab a foothold and spread out of control.
How do I do that?
First, you need an assessment to find out the underlying causes of your
weak immunity. This involves identifying the culprits and learning how
to eliminate and keep them out of the body in the future.
Orthocellular
has developed an immune grader that does just that. It is a
questionnaire that lists 45 known factors that can adversely affect your
immunity. It is the total of all the yes responses on the form that
determines whether or not your immune system is strong, good, weak,
impaired, or dysfunctional. Armed with this information, a program can
be applied to build and fortify your immune system.
A healthy,
human body is a balanced system that is auto-regulating and self-healing
and able to adapt. However, when the immune system is too weak to
protect us, we are no longer in balance. We need to change the internal
environment for building a strong immune system.

Too many people think of the immune system as something that exists only in isolation. That is a big mistake. In truth, your body is composed of a series of integrated systems and is the sum of those systems. Thus, it can only be as strong as the weakest link.
Let's take a quick look at the twelve health benefits that stem form Building a Balanced Immune System to see the impact that the various systems in the body have on our immune system.
As you can see from the above, virtually every system in the body impacts the immune system. You truly are an holistic entity and only as strong as your weakest link.
And, during the program, you will feel the nutrients at work in your body!
