Practitioner Online Training

The following is an introduction to the new Practitioner Online Training, which is now live. The web-based training is being offered through our Classroom Subscription sub-site and available to all holistic nutritionists, personal trainers, health and fitness coaches, as well as to preventative health practitioners who are currently working alone or as part of a team.

Fragmentation in the 21st Century

In 1965, people moved every day and were lean and fit. Obesity was rare. Chronic stress and sleep deprivation were constructs of the Hollywood starlets. Detoxification and cleansing were unheard of because the food chain was relatively clean and a lot of people still grew there own food. So, a practitioner back then could essentially get by with one pillar of health, basically just nutritional protocols.

Now, fast forward to 2015. Few people move anymore, most are not physically fit, 65% plus are overweight or obese, chronic stress is rampant, up to 50% are sleep deprived, the conventional food chain is toxic, processed foods have made detoxification and cleansing necessary, and about 2% of the people grow their own food. Not a good situation, especially when you consider the health crisis we are currently experiencing! How do we begin to fix the problem?

Today, practitioners need to be armed with knowledge based on the four pillars of health. They need to be trained in health and nutrition protocols, fitness and exercise routines, stress reduction and sleep restoration techniques, and detoxification and cleansing methods, which are the four pillars of health. Yes, all four! Here's why.

When a client comes in to see you today, they are almost certain to need nutritional help, as well as exercise recommendations. But, before you can start a program, you need to deal with the chronic stress in their lives, any sleep deprivation, and the need to cleanse and/or detoxify the body. Failure to take care of the mental-emotional sphere, nervous system issues, hormonal system rebalancing, quelling the inflammatory fires in the GI tract, as well as dealing with the bio-accumulation of both water-soluble and fat-soluble toxins, will undermine any nutritional or exercise programs you are proposing.

In short, a fragmented approach to the body will cause your program to fail. You are trying to approach the client's problems with a single pillar, as if it is still 1965. It won't work. Today, you need to deliver all four pillars of health to have a successful outcome with your client. I can hear you saying, "But I can't possibly learn all four of these modalities."

Enter the Four Pillars of Health

Well, you don't have to! You can use a team approach. But, you still need to be knowledgeable so you can devise a coordinated plan and strategy with the other members of your team. Going forward, you and your team need all four pillars of health to be successful. There is no way around it. And, you need to offer the four pillars in-house as part of a complete program(s) to cover all the bases.

The practitioner online training has been designed and developed to show you how to obtain the knowledge you need to deliver the four pillars of health to your clients. Nothing is held back in this training. And, the good thing is you will never need to go elsewhere!

All about the Practitioner Online Training

How is the material presented?

The training materials are presented using the formats and approaches listed below:

  • The technical aspects behind each major topic and sub-topic are presented in a web-based format.
  • Lots of tips and tactics are included in support of the technical concepts.
  • Frequently asked questions that arise from time-to-time are anticipated and  addressed via a Q and A conversational style throughout.
  • The practical aspects are presented using a number of protocols and procedures in a step-by-step, tutorial-style format for ease of learning and application in your facility or in the client's home.
  • The protocol and procedural content can be printed right from your browser.
  • Audio and/or video are included to augment the written material and for support purposes, where applicable.
  • The instructor will be available via e-mail, Skype, and/or IM, if and when you need clarification on a particular subject.
  • An online discussion forum for like-minded people where they can ask questions and enjoy conversations with their colleagues will be added in the future. Mr Prevention will moderate, from time-to-time.

What is the training all about?

The online training goes much deeper and way beyond what you find in a traditional classroom setting in an holistic nutrition or personal training course of study. Why?

Because it is based on the four pillars of health mentioned above. This means it covers all of the root causes when it comes to client problems that stem from poor nutrition, lack of movement, prolonged stress, and detoxification needs. In essence, the training you receive puts these four fragments together into a cohesive whole. We feel that's the way it should always be going forward!

In addition, it delves into the integrated nature of the human body at the cellular level, and presents the information in a simple yet meaningful way so the practitioner can apply the protocols, routines, techniques, and methods in his or her daily practice to solve a myriad of client issues. It serves to fill the knowledge gaps that exist in the mainstream models of today.

Let's take a closer look at each of the three modules in the next section ...

An Overview of the Training

The current content will always be available to you, so you can log-in any time you wish. The training in the classroom is by self-paced study and there are no time restrictions as to when it needs to be completed. This is as it should be! Consider the content as a valuable resource that you can return to over and over again, as needed.

Module 1: The Essentials of Life

When you enter the classroom for the first time, you will see the first major topic entitled The Essentials of Life, as well as four sub-topics, namely:

  1. Clean Oxygen
  2. Natural Light
  3. Pure Water
  4. Natural, Whole Foods

This is the first module. It serves to get you going. You will have enough to keep you busy for awhile. Our recommendation is to work your way through the above sub-topics from top to bottom. In this module, you will learn all about the 60 essential nutrients that are needed on a consistent basis at the cellular level to maintain health and prevent disease.

Module 2: The Four Pillars of Health

The second module is entitled the The Four Pillars of Health. We will make the following materials available to you over time and notify you when new content is posted in the classroom. In this way, we can make the course comprehensive and of the highest quality. Armed with the knowledge gained in Module 1, you now get to put what you learned to practical use in Module 2 via the guidance you will obtain from the four lessons listed below:

  1. Health and Nutrition Protocols
  2. Health and Exercise Routines
  3. Health and Stress Techniques
  4. Health and Detoxification Methods

Module 3: The Final Frontier

The third module is entitled The Final Frontier. We will also make the following content available to you, but only after the second module has been posted in its entirety. The topics listed below are advanced in nature, but once you get your head around the concepts and protocols, you will be well on your way to establishing the bio-individuality of each of your clients.

In the 21st century, this is considered the practitioner's Holy Grail, since each of us is unique, not only on the outside, but also on in the inside, where it counts in large amounts. This means your approach for each client going forward should be based on his or her biochemical, biomechanical, and bioelectrical individuality. The following lessons will help to get you there:

  1. Your Biochemical Cells
  2. Our Biomechanical Frame
  3. The Bioelectrical Network

What is the practical take away value?

The technical background is part of the online training, but we have gone a lot further and provided many practical ways you can apply the new knowledge in your own practice. So, included are hands-on procedural-based tutorials that you can use in the nutritionist's kitchen, exercise room, stress reduction place, and detox centre in your own facility and/or in your client's home. In this way, you will not only be able to talk about the four pillars of health, but equally as important, you will be able to demonstrate the protocols, routines, techniques, and methods to your colleagues and clients.
