As someone who has gone full circle in terms of my home environment, I can tell you it makes a huge difference in terms of the quality of one's life. I've been through the good, the bad, and the ugly.
The problem inside the home has to do with the invisible enemies. You cannot see the toxins in the air you breathe, the water you drink, and the food you eat. Let me explain.
Your house may contain mold, mildew, dust, and pollen. Yes, you can see these culprits. However, when you take a breathe of indoor air you may also be inhaling high concentrations of vapours, which you cannot see. The solvent vapours are released from drapes, carpets, furniture, computer casings, and mattresses, up to seven years after being purchased.
In terms of municipal water, the contaminants are fluoride, chlorine, heavy metals, pesticide residues, among others. When you hold a glass of water up to the light, the fluid looks clear. But, the contaminants are dissolved in the water, which means they are invisible to the naked eye.
When it comes to the food you eat, the processed food industry now puts 3,000 artificial additives in all the foods they manufacture. However, you cannot see these toxins in the food because they are blended into the mix. Again, they are invisible. You know they are there when you read the fine print on the labels.
