The average person has 90 million skin cells and 60% of what you put on your skin is absorbed through the pores and down into the dermis layer. From there it is a direct pipeline to your bloodstream. This is not a good situation!
Mr. Prevention says: The rule of thumb here is that you should only put on your skin what you are also willing to eat. Think about that for awhile. Now, consider tossing the personal care products that do not meet this rule. In this way, you will be keeping a lot of toxins out of your body and out of your cells where they do not belong.
"The medical community cannot work at the level of the cell." ... by Ben Fuchs of CriticalHealthNews.com.
Mr. Prevention says: This is what happens when we as a society and species cling to obsolete medical models that have been rendered useless by our knowledge of cell function in the 21st century. In short, if you can't put your heart into it, fully and completely, then it is best to take yourself out of it. Only by working in concert and in harmony with our 70 trillion cells, can the individual maintain a healthy body and ward off disease. Remember, our cells rule! So always work with them.
"A lot of people have realized that being ill is not a drug deficiency, that medicine has largely sold out to Big Pharma which thrives on infantile fears and misinformed doctors. The rebellion is evident everywhere. We all need to join it." .... by Helke Ferrie, Vitality Magazine
“It is scary how many similarities there are between the drug industry and the mob. [Both] make obscene amounts of money. The side effects of organized crime are killings and death … the same in this industry. The mob bribes politicians and others, and so does the drug industry – [but] many more are killed by this industry than by the mob.” by Dr. Peter Rost, ex-President of Marketing for Pfizer. Helke Ferrie began her opinion piece with the above quote from Dr. Peter Roost. Deconstructing Junk Medicine - How Science is Uncovering the Real Truth Behind Genuine Health, Vitality Magazine, March 2014.

"If drugs make a well person sick, how can they make a sick person well?" by Dr. Abram Hoffer. Helke Ferrie ended her opinion piece with the above quote from Dr. Abram Hoffer. Deconstructing Junk Medicine - How Science is Uncovering the Real Truth Behind Genuine Health, Vitality Magazine, March 2014.
"For every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction. For every new drug on the market these days there appears to be a side effect that is often worse than whatever you're taking the drug for. ... There's a popular pill on the market called Ambien and one of the side effects is drowsiness. Ambien is a sleeping pill for crying out loud! ... Let's see, so totaling up the side effects - achy muscles, heart palpitations, constipation, mild tremors, cramps, sleep disturbance - wait a minute. Aren't those all of the reasons I was taking the drug in the first place?" ... by William Thomas, Laugh Lines column in Forever Young, November 2009.
"Consider how the medical community handles heart disease. Say you have clogged arteries. This eventually causes your blood pressure to rise, so your doctor prescribes blood pressure medication to eliminate the symptom - but not the problem, the clogged arteries.
To reduce blood pressure, doctors have essentially four classes of medication.
Diuretics, which reduce pressure by making you eliminate water from your body. Reduce the volume of fluid in the blood, and you reduce the pressure. Unfortunately, side effects can include dizziness, weakness, and impotence. (Not to worry, there are more medications to alleviate these side effects.
Calcium channel blockers, which work to relax and widen the arteries, thus reducing blood pressure. Unfortunately, a major side effect of channel blockers is a 60 percent increased risk of heart attack.
Beta blockers, which work by weakening the heart so it won't pump as strongly, thereby reducing blood pressure. What genius thought this one up? One of the major problems with beta blockers is the increased risk of congestive heart failure. Nevertheless, despite the increased risk of heart failure, leading doctors have recommended putting every heart attack survivor on beta blockers.
ACE inhibitors (the new drug of choice), which like the calcium channel blockers also work to relax and widen the arteries, but with fewer side effects (just 'minor' things such as kidney impairment, upper respiratory problems, headache, dizziness, and congenital "anomalies").
Keep in mind that, in addition to all of the side effects that these drugs cause (which require further medication), there is a fundamental flaw in your doctor's treatment. All the doctor has done is treat the "manifest' symptom - high blood pressure - but has done nothing to deal with the underlying problem - clogged or hardened arteries.
So, eventually, as your arteries continue to clog and harden to the point where even the medication no longer helps, you start getting the inevitable chest pains. Your doctor then chases the next set of symptoms and performs a coronary bypass or angioplasty to relieve those symptoms - until the next, even more radical, intervention." ... In an excerpt from Lessons from the Miracle Doctors, Jon Barron of the Baseline of Health Foundation explains why the use of drugs to treat heart disease is a fatally flawed approach.
"Depression is a serious mental illness - one that affects more than 15 million adults in the U.S. For some women, pregnancy can bring about new depression symptoms, or worsen existing ones. However, before going to your doctor for an antidepressant prescription, you should know the very real risks that these drugs carry.
A new study, funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and published in the journal BMJ, has linked Prozac (aka paroxetine) and Paxil (aka fluoxetine), two popular antidepressants, to a higher risk of birth defects.
According to the study's authors these results "suggest that some birth defects occur 2-3.5 times more frequently among the infants of women treated with paroxetine or fluoxetine early in pregnancy."
Specifically, the study linked both Prozac and Paxil to a higher risk of heart defects in infants. Prozac was also linked to a misshapen skull in infants, and Paxil was linked to anencephaly (missing parts of the skull and brain), as well as to intestines protruding outside of a baby's body at birth. Scary stuff, indeed.
Additionally, antidepressants such as Prozac carry many other risks. As we have previously reported, Prozac can accumulate in the body, and has been linked with neurological side effects including muscular tics and spasms, as well as Parkinson's-like symptoms. Does this sound like something that should be in anyone's body?
Of course, this does not mean that depression should be ignored, or taken lightly. It is a serious condition that can affect many aspects of both physical and mental health, and if a mother suffers, her baby may suffer too. However, it is definitely worth looking into natural methods to tackle depression - whether you are pregnant or not - before going the pharmaceutical route." ... by the Alternative Daily in a post on September 13, 2015 entitled Study Finds New Risks of Two Major Antidepressants.
